In this role, you’ll lead performance reporting, optimise our use of data across teams, and leverage the latest AI tools to uncover opportunities that drive growth and improve customer outcomes. Your Role at eDesk
  • Develop, prepare, and present accurate business performance reports that highlight key trends and deviations from expectations, enabling data-driven decision making at all levels.

  • Audit and streamline existing reports across departments to standardise formatting, definitions, and outputs—ensuring clarity, consistency, and reliability of data.

  • Deliver actionable insights for GTM functions through robust performance reporting, enabling timely evaluation and optimisation of initiatives.

  • Own data management permissions and processes, enforcing discipline across the business, driving accuracy and consistency in data entry and campaign configuration to support measurable outcomes.

  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations between CRM, billing systems (and similar platforms) and business intelligence tools. 

  • Document data flows, integration processes, and reporting standards for ongoing reference and training.

  • Perform regular audits and quality assurance reviews on all business reporting systems to ensure they reflect current structures, goals, and performance metrics.

  • Use advanced modelling techniques—including AI-assisted tools—to identify the traits of high-value customers and inform targeting strategies.

  • Build predictive models across the customer lifecycle to identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer retention, leveraging machine learning where applicable.

  • Analyse large volumes of customer transaction data to uncover commercial insights that support both internal strategy and the development of thought-leadership content.

  • Play a key role in forecasting, business modelling, and strategic planning—using AI tools to enhance speed, depth, and scalability of analysis.

  • Stay up to date with emerging analytics, system integration and AI trends, tools, and technologies—and proactively apply relevant innovations to improve business insights and performance.

Your profile
  • Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience querying SQL databases and strong proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). 

  • Knowledge of Python is an advantage.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a data analytics role, preferably within a SaaS or ecommerce environment.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-impact analysis and clear, actionable business insights.

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership — able to work independently, take initiative, and move projects forward without needing handholding.

  • Comfortable using AI tools for data exploration, predictive modelling, and productivity enhancement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
