Marketing Analytics Manager

Your mission

We are seeking a seasoned Marketing Analytics Manager who will play a crucial role in harnessing data to drive business growth. This position calls for a balance of technical expertise and strategic thinking, with a focus on leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights. These insights will play a pivotal role in guiding key areas such as market segmentation, targeting, customer behaviour, and optimising conversion rates, all geared towards maximising ROI.

This role calls for a strong analytical mindset, including the ability to break down complex data scenarios into easily digestible reports and deliverables. Plus, the initiative to go beyond the “what” and deliver insights into the "why" of various results. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will act as the foundation to our marketing strategy's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and enhance marketing performance analysis and strategic, data-driven outcomes

  • Leverage audience segmentation, quantitative analysis, and data mining to understand customer audiences and marketing channel engagement

  • Lead the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track progress against business goals. Establish frameworks for measuring and optimising marketing efforts

  • Define and implement comprehensive marketing measurement strategies 

  • Work with large amounts of data from several data sources and develop subject matter expertise on how it all connects together and relates back to the customer

  • Support the cadence of the business: annual planning, quarterly marketing reviews, weekly marketing forecast calls, and pipeline reviews

  • Educate marketers to leverage automated dashboards to enable self-serve analytics insights and recommendations. Leverage feedback to identify opportunities to enhance analytics capabilities to meet evolving stakeholder needs

  • Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms, contributing to the continuous improvement and refinement of the data and analytics strategy

  • Design and maintain core marketing dashboards and reports that track KPIs and ROI

  • Support the team by providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to address immediate business needs and opportunities

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the team's capabilities and efficiency

  • Develop predictive models and lead scoring methodologies to prioritise leads and allocate resources effectively

  • Develop and implement statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques to drive the marketing strategy

Your profile

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Statistics, or similar

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in a similar role, preferably in B2B SaaS 

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation

  • Experience with data modelling, forecasting, and regression analysis

  • Skilled in utilising analytical tools and software like HubSpot and GA4, along with proficiency in languages such as SQL and Python

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau) and advanced Excel and Google Sheet functions

  • Strong understanding of key marketing metrics, what they mean and how they can be effectively used

  • Strong understanding of lead generation principles and tactics across various channels, including email marketing, content marketing, social media and paid advertising

  • Self-starter, able to work independently to produce relevant reporting and insights

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills

  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate within and across a variety of teams including Sales and Finance

  • Rigorously detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and track record of project management success

  • Ability to operate with a high level of energy, commitment and enthusiasm to take on a complex, challenging role in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation
